Case study
Having worked with a designer on a fresh interface for a number of public-facing pages, the team at Becca's Home turned their attention to finding a Wordpress developer who could implement the designs at speed. Luckily for me, they read my proposal on Upwork and decided to go ahead with hiring me for the job!
Using my extensive knowledge and comfortability of Wordpress, I was able to hit the ground running and build high-quality pages using Gutenberg blocks, keeping everything within the CMS. This was important, as the client needed the ability to change anything on the page - content, images, buttons, etc - without needing any programming knowledge.
On a handful of occasions, I was asked to go above-and-beyond to help the team with some mockups when their designer was not available. With plenty of experience as a designer, I was able to design the necessary components and pages within Figma, ensuring pages were well thought-out and with responsiveness/best practises in mind, much to the client's satisfaction.
The project was a great success! The client was very happy with the work produced, as well as my flexibility to assist the team by utilising my skills as a designer whenever needed. It was a pleasure to work with the team at Becca's Home!
